Discussion was held with the youth on a country wide draft policy aimed at implementing strong anti-corruption measures.

The Addis Ababa city Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission in collaboration with the city's youth and sports bureau has discussed with the youth on a country wide draft policy aimed at implementing anti-corruption measures.It is stated on the platform that the draft policy of Ethics and Anti-Corruption that was prepared at the country level will serve as a road map to build a good personality, to produce citizens that are not vulnerable to corruption and to restore and administer corrupt wealth and to make the people own in the fight against corruption.Addis Ababa City Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Commissioner Jemal Reddy stated that it is important to discuss with the youth on a draft policy focused on building ethics and preventing corruption.The commissioner said that the policy involves all sections of society and has a key role in solving fundamental ethical problems.Mr. Tibebu Bekele, the head of Addis Ababa Youth and Sports Bureau, has expressed that it is appreciated that youth participation is improving from the current level.The commission's deputy commissioner Asegedew H/Giorgis has said that the youth should fight against corruption and prevent corruption crimes that are noticed in all institutions.Deputy Commissioner of the commission Assefa Tola pointed out that the lack of ethics is the origin of the thinking problem. As a youth, they are asked to play their role in a policy that aims to stop the fight against corruption by being responsible.The youth who participated in the discussion said that the actions being taken against people involved in theft should be instructive and we the youth should fulfill our responsibilities to prevent corruption.
